These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all bookings made with Moorish Journeys (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By confirming a reservation, the traveler (“client”, “you”, “your”) acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement.

  1. Contract Formation

 

A binding contract is established once the Company issues a written booking confirmation and the required deposit has been received. The person completing the booking warrants that they are authorized to accept these terms on behalf of all travelers listed.

  1. Payment Terms

 

2.1 Accepted Payment Methods

 

The Company accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Credit or debit card
  • Secure online payment link
  • Bank transfer

 

2.2 Payment Schedule

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking.
  • 15 days prior to the start of the trip, the client must pay an additional 75% of the total trip cost.
  • Any remaining balance must be settled upon arrival in Morocco, prior to the commencement of any services.

 

Failure to comply with the payment schedule may result in cancellation of the booking. Applicable cancellation fees shall be charged in accordance with Section 8.

  1. Pricing and Adjustments

 

Prices are subject to change in the event of increased costs imposed by suppliers, currency fluctuations, government fees, or taxes. The Company reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to travel.

  1. Travel Insurance

 

The Company strongly recommends that clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal liability, and loss of baggage. The Company shall not be liable for any losses arising from the failure to obtain adequate insurance.

  1. Client Responsibilities

 

5.1 Documentation

 

Clients are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas, and all required entry documents. Denied entry due to improper documentation shall not be grounds for a refund.

 

  1. Special Requests

 

Special requests (dietary requirements, room preferences, special accommodations) must be submitted in writing. While the Company will relay these to suppliers, no guarantee can be provided unless confirmed in writing.

  1. Modifications by the Client

 

Requests for changes after booking confirmation will be handled at the Company’s discretion. Additional administrative or supplier fees may apply.

  1. Cancellation by the Client

 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Administrative fees only (deposit remains non-refundable).
  • 30 to 15 days before departure: 75% of the total trip cost will be charged.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total trip cost will be charged.
  • No-show: No refund.

 

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the original payment method.

  1. Changes or Cancellations by the Company

 

The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries or substitute services when necessary due to weather conditions, force majeure, operational issues, supplier unavailability, or safety concerns.

If a significant change occurs prior to departure, the client will be informed promptly and offered reasonable alternatives.

 

The Company shall not be liable for cancellations or alterations caused by circumstances beyond its control.

  1. Liability & Limitations

 

The Company acts as an intermediary between the client and service providers (hotels, transport companies, guides, etc.). While we carefully select our partners, we are not responsible for:

  • Delays, injuries, or losses caused by third-party suppliers
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or government actions
  • Loss of personal belongings

 

The Company’s liability shall not exceed the value of the services purchased.

  1. Complaints & Claims

 

Any complaint must be reported immediately to the guide or Company representative so corrective action may be taken.

If unresolved, a written claim must be submitted to the Company within 7 days following the end of the trip. Claims submitted after this period may not be considered.

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

 

This Agreement shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Moroccan courts.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

 

By booking with Moorish Journeys, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions for themselves and all members of their party.
