Day-by-Day itinerary:

Day 1: Agadir – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

The tour may start the same day you arrive in Agadir or the next day, depending on when you get there. Travel inland through the Souss Valley and the argan tree region to get to Taliouine, the main area in Morocco where saffron is grown. If you want, you can go to local saffron cooperatives and drink saffron tea while you’re there.Re. Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, head to Tora Gorge, a dramatic canyon with steep limestone cliffs that rise up to 300 meters. The gorge is surrounded by palm groves and traditional villages. After lunch near the gorge, head east towards Merzouga. When you get to the Erg Chebbi dunes, take a camel ride to the desert camp at sunset At the camp, dinner is served, and then there is traditional music around the fire and a night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Zagora

Come back from the desert camp and go on to Rissani, where you can see the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder of the Alaouite dynasty. Travel through dry plateaus and oasis landscapes, passing Tazarine or Alnif, and then cross the southern slopes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
Get to Zagora, a town in an oasis known for its long palm groves along the Draa Valley.

Day 4: Zagora – Agdz – Taroudant – Agadir

After breakfast, head north along the Draa Valley towards Agdz. Stop along the way to take in the wide views of the palm-lined river valley. Take the Aït Saoun Pass over the Anti-Atlas Mountains and head towards Taroudant. Take a short trip to this historic walled town before going back to Agadir, where the tour ends.
